This was the first Alice in Wonderland piece I did. The caterpillar is attempting to be as eloquent as Morpheus in explaining the difference between the blue and red pill. Also, I'm pretty sure the real caterpillar is dead and has been turned into a suit. I could be wrong though.

I spent an entire day just listening to and reading Poe's short stories and poetry before starting this piece. I tried to fit as many elements from his swritings as possible, without overcrowding the painting. Also, it's impossible to read on the image above, but the wall above Poe is covered in writing - the last line from many of his pieces, as well as some other more famous quotes from them.
